Alyce Dignum-Blackley, 15 offered the following advice before she succumbed to Cystic Fibrosis in 2005.
Purple Soup are roud to be trustees of the program "Alyce's Wish" which aims to share adventure with these very special people, who like Alyce, battle with the gruelling hospital stays and difficulties of living with C.F.
Purple Soup staff will donate their tim to the program. Alyce would have wanted it that way. The "Princess" who loved all things pink bullied Purple Soup founder, Tim Marchinton, into designing adventure for CF patients, even if they involved towing a oxygen bottle arround. Tim is proud to have known Alyce, and her inspiration and legacy lives on in this program.
Cross infection risks mean that patients with Cystic Fibrosis cannot attend adventure camps as a group. We will deliver programs for C.F patient, their family and friends.
It might be canoeing, abseiling, swim with the dolphin, rock climbilg, sky diving or anything else that challenges the individual.
Apart from lots of laughter and fun, we guarantee that the participants will leave shouting "I Can Do It"
If you know somebody with Cystic Fibrosis who could use a bit of adventure, then contact us at info@purplesoup.org
100% of all donations will be used to create memorable adventures for young people with CF.
