“I have pleasure in providing the below testimonial for Purple Soup and the work we have done together with the Orientation Program.
 
In my role as Manager, Student Development Undergraduate for the Faculty of Business and Economics I have been responsible for the provision of Orientation programs at our Caulfield an Clayton Campuses.  Our orientation program hosts in excess of 800 students.  An important part of our Orientation program includes a 1 hour small group activity called “The Incredible Race”.  This activity takes new students around their new campus, and gives them a chance to meet other new students and work together in small teams to solve puzzles and challenges along the way.  This fun race facilitates the beginnings of friendships that we hope will continue throughout our students study period.
 
We could not run this part of the program without the professional help from the Purple Soup Team, lead by Tim Marchinton.  Tim and his crew are always on time, and model quality team building and team management skills during the running of this activity.  They are always well prepared, well dressed and their professional, courteous and spirited facilitation takes the hassle and worry out of this part of our program.  Students respond warmly to the Soup Crew, and the feedback from students is overwhelmingly positive; many give us the feedback that it was the activity they enjoyed the most on the day.
